Bayesian Artificial Intelligence lab
The Bayesian Artificial Intelligence lab is led by Dr Anthony Constantinou. The lab focuses on unsupervised machine learning algorithms for causal structure learning, and on algorithms suitable for learning in the presence of noisy data or measurement error, discovering latent confounders, imputing missing values, and combining machine learning with prior knowledge.
Decision Support lab
The Decision Support lab is led by Dr William Marsh. The aim of the lab is to develop practical techniques for decision-support with probabilistic and causal models (primarily using Bayesian networks). Much of the work is collaborative with application to medicine and in engineering.
