The lab focuses on unsupervised machine learning algorithms for causal structure learning, and on algorithms suitable for learning in the presence of noisy data or measurement error, discovering latent confounders, imputing missing values, and combining machine learning with prior knowledge.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Decision Support lab<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"http:\/\/newton.eecs.qmul.ac.uk\/\" data-type=\"URL\" data-id=\"http:\/\/newton.eecs.qmul.ac.uk\/\" target=\"_blank\">Decision <\/a><a href=\"http:\/\/newton.eecs.qmul.ac.uk\/\" data-type=\"URL\" data-id=\"http:\/\/newton.eecs.qmul.ac.uk\/\">Support<\/a> lab is led by <a href=\"http:\/\/www.eecs.qmul.ac.uk\/~william\/\" data-type=\"URL\" data-id=\"http:\/\/www.eecs.qmul.ac.uk\/~william\/\">Dr William Marsh<\/a>. The aim of the lab is to develop practical techniques for decision-support with probabilistic and causal models (primarily using Bayesian networks).
